The 602 Club 4: Prototypical Con Man

Constantine

The shadowy figure of John Constantine fully revealed himself to comic readers in June of 1985. His Hellblazer comic went on to be the longest running Vertigo comic ever, and now he has come to the small screen on NBC’s new fall show Constantine.

In this episode of The 602 Club, host Matthew Rushing is joined by Jose Munoz of The Zero Room podcast as well as Norman Lao to talk about Constantine. They dive into the history of the character, first impressions of the show, and where it hits the mark, while mentioning the things that might still need some tweaking.
