The 602 Club 78: The Virtue Inside

Captian America: The First Avenger

Marvel began it’s road by securing the money to create it’s studio in 2005 and then started the process of figuring out which film would be first. Originally Captain America was to be the one kicking things off, but when Jon Favreau was approached as director, he chose to make Iron Man instead, leaving the Captain out in the cold until Joe Johnston was brought on board to bring his origin to life.

In this episode of The 602 Club host Matthew Rushing is joined by Howling Commando Bruce Gibson to talk about Captain America: The First Avenger. We discuss our familiarity with Marvel, something a little different, character matters, the cast, the villain, the director, skinny Steve, the music, a few last things and our ratings.
